Creating Funnels
Funnels are multi-step journeys that guide visitors toward a specific action. Use them for lead generation, product launches, webinars, and sales processes.
What is a Funnel?
A funnel is a series of connected pages designed to move visitors through a specific journey. Unlike a website with free navigation, funnels have a deliberate flow:
Opt-in Funnel
Capture leads with a compelling offer. Visitors enter their email in exchange for valuable content.
Sales Funnel
Present your offer, address objections, and guide visitors to purchase with a clear path.
Webinar Funnel
Registration page, confirmation, and replay sequence for live or automated webinars.
Launch Funnel
Build anticipation with a sequence of pages leading to a product or service launch.
Creating Your First Funnel
Start from Dashboard
Click New Funnel from the Quick Actions section, or go to Funnels in the sidebar and click Create Funnel.
Choose a Template or Start Fresh
Browse funnel-specific templates (opt-in, sales, webinar) or start with a blank funnel to build from scratch.
Name Your Funnel
Give your funnel a descriptive name like "Free Ebook Opt-in" or "Product Launch Sequence".
Add Funnel Steps
Each step is a page in your funnel. Add steps for opt-in, thank you, sales, checkout, and confirmation pages.
Funnel Steps
A funnel consists of multiple steps, each serving a specific purpose in the visitor journey:
| Step Type | Purpose | Common Elements |
|---|---|---|
| Opt-in Page | Capture visitor information | Headline, form, benefit bullets, privacy notice |
| Thank You Page | Confirm submission, deliver content | Confirmation message, download link, next steps |
| Sales Page | Present your offer | Benefits, testimonials, pricing, guarantee |
| Checkout Page | Collect payment | Order summary, payment form, trust badges |
| Upsell Page | Offer additional products | One-click upsell, limited time offer |
| Confirmation | Complete the purchase | Order confirmation, access instructions |
Connecting Funnel Steps
Link your funnel steps together to create a seamless flow:
Inheriting from Parent Website
Funnels can inherit settings from a parent website project. This is useful when you want consistent branding across your main site and funnels:
- Business Profile - Company name, logo, and contact info
- Color Scheme - Primary and secondary colors
- Typography - Font choices and sizes
- Footer Content - Legal links and copyright
Funnel Analytics
Track how visitors move through your funnel:
- Step Views - How many visitors see each step
- Conversion Rate - Percentage moving to next step
- Drop-off Points - Where visitors leave the funnel
- Overall Completion - End-to-end funnel performance
