Inline Editing

Edit text directly on the page, just like typing in a document. No switching between panels - click and type to make changes instantly.

How Inline Editing Works

Inline editing lets you modify content directly on the canvas:

Click Any Text

Click on any text element (headlines, paragraphs, buttons) to select it.

Double-Click to Edit

Double-click to enter edit mode. A cursor will appear and you can start typing.

Type Your Content

Type, delete, or paste text just like in any text editor.

Click Away to Save

Click outside the text element or press Escape to exit edit mode. Changes are saved automatically.

Formatting Toolbar

When editing text, a formatting toolbar appears with styling options:

What You Can Edit Inline

  • Headlines - All heading levels (H1-H6)
  • Paragraphs - Body text and descriptions
  • Button Text - Call-to-action labels
  • List Items - Bullet points and numbered lists
  • Captions - Image and video captions
  • Labels - Form field labels and placeholders
Settings Panel for More Some properties like colors, fonts, and spacing are edited in the right panel, not inline. Click a block to see all available settings.

Adding Links

Select Text

Highlight the text you want to link by clicking and dragging.

Click Link Button

Click the link icon in the toolbar or press Ctrl/Cmd + K.

Enter URL

Type or paste the URL. Choose whether to open in new tab.

Apply

Press Enter or click Apply to create the link.

Tips for Efficient Editing

Quick Navigation Press Tab to move to the next editable element. Press Shift + Tab to go back.
  • Copy/Paste - Use standard shortcuts to copy and paste text
  • Undo - Press Ctrl/Cmd + Z to undo changes
  • Select All - Press Ctrl/Cmd + A to select all text in an element
  • Paste Without Formatting - Use Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + V to paste plain text
